The 99 were arraigned at a court in Isiolo.
Among the suspects who are all men, 88 of them were arrested by police officers along the Isiolo- Moyale road while the other 11 were nabbed in Isiolo town by police on patrol.
The immigrants appeared before Isiolo Magistrate Joan Irura and pleaded guilty.
Magistrate Irura said legal action must be taken the 99 since there is a rise of incidents of Ethiopian nationals being in Kenya illegally.
The driver transporting the aliens was also arraigned in court.
The immigrants were fined 500 thousand shillings each or face a jail term of three years.
They have been given two weeks to appeal the decision.
