ETHIOPIANS IN EASTERN UKRAINE NEED URGENT HELP
Ethiopians living in Eastern Ukraine,Donetsk, for the last ten to more than 20 years are
in a dire situation and need urgent assistance. Ordinarily their plight was already
unbearable as they had to suffer unemployenent and crude racism.
The Ethiopians and their families do not have anyone to turn to as they are ebeaten and
mistreated be it by the "independentists" or by the Kiev forces. The refugees state : "we
and our children’s unable to walk on the streets even during day time, there is no
regular shopping, no school, no work and thus there is no means of life; our work
places are closed. We do not have other places to go and pass those hard times; no
relatives to shelter us.’’ The refugees and their families listed below are in need of
urgent help, of resettlement in other countries before they become innocent war victims.
