Ethiopian Cargo Airline Crash Lands At Kotoka Airport Accra
January 10, 2014 (Adonline) — An Ethiopian cargo plane is said to have crash-landed at the Kotoka International Airport on Saturday afternoon.
The accident according to sources happened around 11:00 am on Saturday.
It is unclear what may have caused the accident even though airport officials suspect bad weather.
The development, according to sources, caused massive panic among passengers at the airport but it is unclear where the cargo flight was heading to when the incident occurred.
Three crew members on board the air craft have been taken to hospital.
This is not the first time a plane has skidded off the runway at the KIA.
In 2012, a Nigerian Cargo plane skidded off the tarmac and run into apassenger vehicle killing about ten passengers.
